Overview
Unmapped listings are listings that were listed directly on eBay and which are not linked to a Visualsoft product. If this is the case, orders for these listings will not import to Visualsoft and stock will not be synced. You will have no control over these listings from Visualsoft.
You will be advised to map your listings before your integration goes live.
This will link up the listings with a corresponding Visualsoft product so that when your integration goes live, we can manage the stock and import orders for that listing.
Navigating
The eBay mapping screen can be found by going to Channels > eBay > eBay Product Mapping. This screen will show you listings on eBay that are not linked to a corresponding VS product.
This screen is broken down into several sections:
Matched
Listings on eBay that have an eBay SKU that matches a reference or product ID of a product on Visualsoft.
It is possible to automatically match these products to corresponding VS products due to this match.
Partial
Listings on eBay that have an eBay SKU where the SKU for some variations match the VS child products, but others do not.
To resolve this, you will need to either manually tell us which product the unmatched variations should link to by clicking on 'Manage', and finding the corresponding product, or by inputting a SKU into eBay for the variation that matches the reference in VS.
Unmatched
Products that have an eBay SKU but there is no VS product that matches this SKU.
To resolve, you will need to manually tell us which product this listing should map to. Alternatively you could change the SKU in eBay to match the VS reference.
Unlinkable Products
These are types of listings that have no eBay SKU so we have nothing to try and match up to a VS product. It is not possible to map an unlinkable listing, even by telling us manually which product it should map to - you will need to input a SKU into the listing on eBay so that it moves to one of the other sections above.
When mapping listings from the Matched section, if all the products match correctly you can click the Map All Matched button to map all listings that match VS products in bulk.
If you need to individually manage a listing to match it to a VS product, click on ‘Manage’ next to the listing.
Clicking ‘Manage’ will open this box:
Using the drop-down next to ‘products’, select the correct product/variation to be mapped then click map product. If there are no variations to choose from, you need to click on ‘Add Parent Products to Selections’ to search for and select the corresponding VS product.
Once you select the parent product, the variations will become available in the drop-down. Select the corresponding variation, then click on ‘Map Product’.
Follow the same process for ‘Partial’ listings and ‘Unmatched’ listings.
Unlinkable listings are listings that do not have a SKU/reference in eBay. We are not able to link to these listings. To resolve this you will need to log into your eBay account and edit the listings so that they have an eBay SKU (preferably one to match the relevant product in VS). Once that is done come back to the mapping page and click Refresh eBay Product Data at the top of the page and the listings move to the Matched section if the eBay SKU matches a VS reference.
Summary
After using this guide, you hopefully should be able to remap different levels/types of unmapped eBay listings via the Visualsoft Admin Page’s eBay management page.
