Overview

If you are in a scenario where you need to move your website into a site to Maintenance Mode to not allow customers to access the website this can be a useful tool. The holding page could be used for any number of reasons from issues to you needing to pause sales on the website.

 

Turning on the Holding Page

You can do set-up the holding page by going to Settings on the left-hand side, followed by Website Settings and finding the setting called Holding Page.

 

Editing the Holding Page text

You can edit the message displayed here when the site is in maintenance mode by going to Content followed by Language Strings and finding the section called holding_page

Here you can choose the text that will appear when the site is moved into maintenance mode.
