eBay: Mapping product options to eBay Attributes

Overview

As well as mapping top-level departments to categories, you can also match up your product options to eBay's product attributes too - however please note that this is only relevant if you have set up comprehensive product options in your admin system and they have not already been mapped by our Web Development Team when adding the eBay Integration feature to your store.

Mapping product options to eBay Attributes

Step 1: Within the VS Admin page of the site, go to Channels → eBay → manage eBay Stores. Click the ‘Manage' button, you should be presented with a list of tabs with ‘defaults’ present as shown below:

Step 2: Next to each option in the list there should be an ‘Add’ button, click this and you should be delivered to a page such as this:

Step 3: Within the ‘Category Details’ list, select 'Variation Specifics' which will bring up all product options in a set of dropdown boxes as shown below:

Step 4: Select the product option you wish to have active and select ‘Save'.
